EECS's Eta Kappa Nu has received an Outstanding Chapter Award for the 2013-2014.

KU’s Gamma Iota chapter of Eta Kappa Nu (IEEE-HKN) has received an HKN Outstanding Chapter Award for the 2013-2014 school year.  HKN is an invitation-only honor society for Electrical and Computer Engineers in their junior and senior years.

Brian McClendon to speak to ACM/IEEE students, Friday, January 30th

EECS Team Wins Regional Competition

Students from the University of Kansas School of Engineering earned first place in a cyber defense competition. The KU team, the “JayHackers,” won the inaugural computer security competition at the Central Area Networking and Security Workshop, hosted by KU in late October.
