Advising Is Scheduled for March 27, 28

Published on March 8th, 2013 by Michelle Ward

Advising will take place March 27th and March 28th (the Wednesday and Thursday after Spring Break). To be able to enroll for the fall semester, you will first need to meet with your advisor. After turning in a completed and signed advising form, the Engineering Advising Hold will be removed from your account.

You will need to go to your advisor’s** office door and sign-up for an appointment on the schedule sheet. If you want to talk to your advisor about more than your fall schedule (for example, transfer credits, long-term degree planning, career advice, etc.), please sign up for two consecutive time slots. Advising will take place in your advisor’s office at the scheduled time. Please be prompt.

Before the appointment, please look at the courses needed for next semester (check the EECS Handbook) and have an idea of a proposed schedule.

After advising, you will need to turn the completed and signed form in to the front desk at the EECS Office (2001 Eaton). The Advising hold will be released within 24 hours. You will need to take care of any other holds on your Enroll & Pay account before you will be able to enroll. Once all holds are released, you will be able to enroll starting at the time given on your Enroll & Pay account.

If you absolutely cannot meet during your advisor’s available times on March 27th or 28th, then please e-mail your advisor to schedule an appointment.

**If your advisor is Dr. Petr, Dr. Evans, or Dr. Stiles, you will receive an e-mail with instructions on how to schedule your appointment.

If you are uncertain of your advisor’s name, please stop by the EECS Office.
