Student Linux System Administrator

The EECS Department is currently advertising an opening for a student linux system administrator position. Applicants must have the following qualifications:

• 2 years exerpience with Linux operating systems
• 1 year experience with software development in any of the following languages: C, C++, Java, Python, Bash
• Perl experience
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

Exceptional candidates will possess the following skills:

• 2 years exerpience with RedHat/Fedora
• Proven ability to create RPMS
• Experience with TCP/IP networks, CUPS, OpenLDAP, NFS and Samba
