EECS Server Facilities

The EECS department has four "cycle" servers for students to use for projects requiring large processing requirements as well as for students working remotely. If you have a project that you know is going to take a long amounts of CPU time it is in your best interest to notify the system administrators. The system administrators will periodically check the systems for hung processes and users abusing the system and take the appropriate action to deal with each. If you are logging into these system using the SSH client provided on the my.eecs website be sure to set the authentication method to "keyboard-interactive" or you will not be able to log onto these machines.
